Amid teacher shortage, Baltimore County Public Schools looks to staff up with job fairs

GWYNN OAK, Md. —  Amid a trainer shortage in this article in Maryland and throughout the country, Baltimore County General public Educational facilities held many occupation fairs Thursday to hoping to fill those vacancies before the upcoming university yr.

Woodlawn High College principal Jamel Jernigan is hopeful they’ll be totally staffed by the drop.

“This year we did lose some persons. And we missing some actually solid persons, transparently,” she claimed.

Jernigan is looking to fill 10 positions, which includes instructors, counselors and business office staff members.

“I am extremely optimistic. We have experienced some fantastic candidates appear via previously,” she claimed. “I have obtained some delivers that I’m by now submitting to my human methods division. And we’re only about midway via.”
