Tech CEOs call for broader computer science education in new letter

Much more than 500 notable people in enterprise, education and learning, and the nonprofit sector are calling for governors and training leaders to update K-12 curriculums to allow “every student in just about every faculty to have the option to understand computer science,” according to a new letter posted publicly at The record of signatories consists of lots of well known figures in technological know-how, including Apple CEO Tim Cook dinner, Amazon founder and executive chair Jeff Bezos, Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai, Microsoft cofounder Invoice Gates, and Meta founder, chairman, and CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

“The undersigned commit our assist by collectively developing employment alternatives for personal computer science students in each metropolis in the United states, and in each individual sector, from production to banking, from agriculture to healthcare,” the letter reads. “Many of us offer you internships to support these learners come across their job pathway.
